Laika Wallet Bug Bounty Campaign
Manual and step-by-step guide
Goal: To identify and address potential bugs and security vulnerabilities within Laika wallet. By participating in this program, you contribute to making our platform easier and safer for all users.
Bounty Pool: $20,000
Scope
The Bug Bounty Program covers all types of minor bugs and security vulnerabilities within the Laika wallet mobile application on both Android and iOS platforms. The scope includes, but is not limited to:
- Authentication and Authorization
- Cryptographic issues
- UI/UX Issues
- Secure data storage
- Secure key management
- Transaction Issues
- Private Key Exposure
Eligibility
Open to the entire community, including developers, users, and security enthusiasts.
To be eligible for the bug bounty rewards, the following conditions must be met:
- The bug must be original and previously unreported.
- The researcher must provide a clear and detailed report, including a step-by-step explanation of the vulnerability.
- The researcher must refrain from disclosing the vulnerability publicly until it has been resolved by our team.
Step by Step submission guide
Step 1 .
Create Google Spreadsheet and ensure the spreadsheet is set to “Anyone with the link can view and comment.” Example of spreadsheet can be found here 👈, just make a copy or create by yourself based on the example below.
Step 2.
Include comprehensive information about the bug, steps to reproduce, and any additional details. Include links to any necessary files such as screenshots or videos (Ensure the access to this files is set to “Anyone with the link can view.”)
For large files and video sharing you may use such a service as https://dropmefiles.com/, ensure that link for download doesn’t have password lock and available for download for anyone with a link.
Step 3.
Compose a new e-mail, generate a shareable link for the Google Spreadsheet and include it in the body of the email. Include a brief summary of the reported bug in the email body. Mention that the detailed bug report is provided in the attached Google Spreadsheet.
Step 4.
Send an email to bugbounty@laika.org with the subject line [Laika Wallet BugBounty Submission]
Bug Validation
Our development team will review and validate the submitted bugs. (This may take up to 7 days)
Only the first received report of a specific bug will be rewarded.
Reward Distribution
Rewards will be distributed in LAIKA tokens.
The severity level will determine the reward amount, with higher severity bugs receiving greater rewards.
Bug Severity Reassessment
The Laika team reserves the right to reassess the severity of reported bugs based on further investigation.
